The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Thiago Cunha and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akerfeldt avoids the body shot from Dragoun.
Akerfeldt moves out of range as Dragoun throws a body kick.
Dragoun fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dragoun scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Mikael Akerfeldt has been cut.
Dragoun throws a head kick that misses.
Dragoun stuns Akerfeldt with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Akerfeldt looks for a takedown but Dragoun sprawls well.
Dragoun connects with a high kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dragoun misses with a wild combination.

Peter Dragoun is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Akerfeldt takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Dragoun throws a nice inside leg kick.
Akerfeldt looks gassed!
Dragoun tries a head kick but it misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Akerfeldt sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Akerfeldt takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Dragoun dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Akerfeldt. That did some damage!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dragoun connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Akerfeldt's hands.
Dragoun throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Akerfeldt stumbling backwards into the cage! Akerfeldt bounces back off the cage towards Dragoun, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Dragoun lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Dragoun celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Peter Dragoun!
