Carter has chosen Lets Dance as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Dwight Thomas has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Carter fails to land with a series of punches.
Thomas scores with a jab. Carter acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
It looks like Kanalu Carter has been cut.
Carter lands a jab to the nose.
Carter misses with a two punch combination.
Nice takedown defense from Thomas. No joy for Carter on that attempt.
Thomas catches Carter with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Carter looks for a takedown but Thomas sprawls well.
Carter shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Thomas defends it nicely.
Dwight Thomas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kanalu Carter.
A combination from Thomas does no damage.

Carter tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Thomas swivels and escapes.
Thomas goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Carter looks to score with a jab to the body but Thomas is just out of range.

Carter throws a left and a right that both miss
and Thomas counters with a low kick, right behind Carter 's knee.
Carter looks gassed!
Thomas throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Carter tumbling to the canvas!
Carter is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Thomas is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Carter is still in real trouble! Can Thomas finish him?
Carter seems to have recovered his senses.
Thomas cracks Carter with a solid left hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Thomas missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Thomas controlling from the top position.
Thomas is looking to work some ground and pound but Carter has wrist control.

Thomas stands up and waves to Carter to follow him.
Thomas misses with a wild combination.
Carter fails with the takedown
and Thomas counters with a stiff right hand.
That has opened up Kanalu Carter's cut even more.
Carter slips a jab and a cross from Thomas.
Carter shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Thomas counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Carter has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
