The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Michael Johnstone and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lister Jr clobbers Renaud with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like Enorme Renaud has been cut.
Renaud lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Renaud sizes up Lister Jr with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Lister Jr fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Renaud manages to avoid it.
Lister Jr looks to land a right hand but Renaud moved out of range.
Lister Jr has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad The Island in the buildup to the fight.
Renaud scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lister Jr doesn't seem bothered though.
Renaud has Lister Jr up against the cage in a clinch.
Renaud lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Lister Jr is trying to break free.
Lister Jr breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A jab from Renaud finds it's way through Lister Jr's defenses.
Renaud's coach down at Cozad The Island was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Renaud's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Renaud lands a body shot.
Lister Jr misses with a hook
and Lister Jr takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Lister Jr swings for the body but Renaud moves out of range.
Lister Jr swings widly with a right hand
and Renaud counters with a big right hand! Oh Lister Jr is in trouble here! Renaud follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
