Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eric Frost (ranked 41 p4p, 850 weight class) and Luke Ridley (ranked 7 p4p, 92 weight class). Frost comes to the cage accompanied by Procreation (of the Wicked). This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ridley throws a combination that misses

and Frost counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Ridley is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Frost wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ridley, who protects the arm well.
Frost definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Ridley gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Frost wants to free his trapped foot but Ridley is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Frost wants to control the pace but Ridley is squirming around nicely.

Frost is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Frost extends the arm and Ridley is forced to tap!
