Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Angus Young!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Jin Matsushima!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Dirk Anderson and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matsushima misses the shot to the body.
As Matsushima tries to get set, Young tries to push him back and clinch up but Matsushima manages to avoid the attempt.
Young shoots in looking for a takedown but Matsushima manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Young's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Young tries to score a power double leg takedown but Matsushima sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Young somewhat.
Young clinches.
Young blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Matsushima misses with some punches.
Matsushima tries a body shot but Young blocks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The referee calls for Young to work.
Young misses with a hook from the clinch.
Young swings wildly with an uppercut but Matsushima uses good head movement to avoid it.
Matsushima tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Matsushima throws a head punch that misses.
Matsushima lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Young backwards.

Young jumps into guard, dragging Matsushima to the mat.
Young has Matsushima pulled in close to control his posture.

Matsushima is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Young has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Matsushima is looking to defend but Young has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Matsushima! Young pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Matsushima taps out and this one is all over!
