PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zdenko Radic (ranked 1250 p4p, 2180 weight class) and Pascal Popper (ranked 158 p4p, 262 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Radic thuds a left hand into Popper's body.
Sloppy strikes from Popper. Those never looked like landing.
Radic throws a body shot but no joy.
Radic throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Radic jabs Popper right on the nose. Popper blinks but takes it well.
Popper connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Radic's hands.
Radic ducks under a wild hook from Popper.
Radic definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Radic lands a nice shot that snaps Popper's head back.

It looks like Pascal Popper has been cut.
Radic avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Popper throws a right and a left that Radic avoids nicely.
An attempted straight right counter from Radic misses the target.
Radic takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Radic lands a really nice looking cross but Popper seems unphased.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Popper tries to clinch but Radic moves out of range.

Radic cracks Popper with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Radic has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Popper to stand back up!

Radic throws the left hand but Popper avoids the punch easily.

and Popper counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Radic badly! He tries to strike back but Popper puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Radic out cold! Oh man, Radic will never hear the end of this one!
