Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hoss Dukes!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Daniel Franklin and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dukes closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Benson jumps guard but Dukes stands there with Benson around his waist. Benson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Benson is trying to pull guard but Dukes turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Benson pulls guard successfully.
Dukes stays in close to Benson's body and controls the position.
Dukes wants to pass the guard but Benson is keeping the position.
Benson looking for a guillotine here but Dukes defends easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Benson is striking but Dukes is not phased and passes to half guard.

Dukes is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Benson reverses the position - he's now on top in Dukes's guard.

Benson is fighting to break Dukes's control of his arms but Dukes is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Dukes looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Dukes really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Benson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Dukes is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Benson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Dukes manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Benson has Dukes in his guard.
Benson has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Benson will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Dukes content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Dukes postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Benson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Dukes, into his guard.
Benson tries to free his leg and advance position but Dukes is retaining full guard.
Dukes is trying to control the position but Benson postures up.
Benson drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dukes looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dukes looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dukes!
Dukes goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Benson has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Dukes but great work by Benson.

Dukes is looking to reverse the position.
Benson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Dukes is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Benson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dukes, who protects the arm well.

Benson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dukes.
Benson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Dukes darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Benson lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Benson lands a big shot that drops Dukes! Can he finish him?
Dukes is still in real trouble! Can Benson finish him?
Benson slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Dukes is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Benson is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Benson is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Dukes has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Dukes!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dukes throws a strike but Benson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Dukes seems to have recovered his senses.

Benson is pushing down on Dukes's leg trying to pass to half guard. Dukes is fighting to maintain full guard but Benson has managed to sneak the leg through.
Benson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dukes can do to turn this around?

Dukes is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Benson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Benson's back!

Dukes manages to get his head free but now Benson has transitioned to an armbar! Dukes grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Benson! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
