Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Boryslav Margera (ranked 1623 p4p, 1753 weight class) and Gatimu Wanjiku (ranked 174 p4p, 187 weight class). Margera comes to the cage accompanied by Daniel Lioneye - The King of Rock 'n' Roll. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Margera clobbers Wanjiku with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Margera moves into the clinch.

Margera misses with a knee to the head.
Margera lands a nice knee to the body.
A short right from Wanjiku.
I was talking to Margera's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Margera misses with a punch to the body.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Wanjiku.
Wanjiku blocking some punches.
Margera tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Wanjiku's elbow.
Margera blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Margera blocks an uppercut.
Margera lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Margera goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Wanjiku.
Margera connects with a nasty looking knee right to Wanjiku's face.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Margera lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Wanjiku is still on wobbly legs! Can Margera finish him?
Margera has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Wanjiku - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Margera, and another! Wanjiku is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Boryslav Margera!
