PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Harun Aydin (ranked 2910 p4p, 23462 weight class) and Shun Cao (ranked 345 p4p, 542 weight class). Aydin comes to the cage accompanied by Mockingbird - Eminem. The crowd seem to be enjoying Cao 's choice of entrance music: No Save Point - Run The Jewels. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Harun Aydin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Shun Cao !
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aydin looks to throw the jab but Cao is out of range.
Aydin has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Aydin misses the jab.
Cao misses with a series of wild punches.
Aydin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Cao throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Aydin swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
No joy there for Cao , who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Aydin throws a hook but Cao avoids it easily.

Cao has closed the distance and engaged Aydin in a clinch.

Aydin decides to pull guard.
Aydin not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Aydin pulls Cao in close to his closed guard and prevents Cao from doing any damage or advancing position.

Aydin has an active guard here but Cao has managed to pass into half guard.
Aydin tries to roll over but Cao keeps him under control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Aydin has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Cao is working away from the top position though.
Aydin is pressing down on Cao 's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Aydin is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Cao defends well.

Cao has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Aydin to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Cao is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Aydin pulls down on the head and he's put Cao to sleep! This one is all over!
