Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ethan Reynolds (ranked 4196 p4p, 25755 weight class) and Caghan White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ethan Reynolds!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Caghan White!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Roger Salmon and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reynolds bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
White tries to bench press Reynolds off him but Reynolds keeps the position.
White on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
White trying to remain calm as Reynolds controls from the top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
White wants to get back to his feet but Reynolds drags him back down.

White is looking for a sweep.
White takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Reynolds working the head and body with strikes.

White tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Reynolds wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Reynolds feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Reynolds lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Reynolds working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Ethan Reynolds overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Reynolds tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Reynolds closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Reynolds decides to stand back up.
Reynolds pulls out of a head kick attempt.
White darts in looking for a takedown but Reynolds gets double underhooks and turns White into the cage.
White fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
It looked like Reynolds was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Reynolds misses with a head kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Reynolds rushes White and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Reynolds tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
White tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Reynolds just stands there and leans against the cage.
Ethan Reynolds has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Caghan White.
White tries to circle away but Reynolds has him pinned against the cage.

A right handed body shot lands from Reynolds.

Reynolds manages to break the clinch.
White takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Reynolds shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. White is trying to defend but Reynolds finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Reynolds wants to get back to his feet.
Reynolds scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
White is trying to control but can't.
White has hold of Reynolds's hands but Reynolds slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Reynolds tries to pass to full mount but White defends it.
Reynolds seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
White taking some punishment here, with Reynolds in his half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Reynolds closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. White quickly recovers to half guard.
White scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Reynolds manages to mount him!
Reynolds pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Reynolds cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Reynolds connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Caghan White has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Ethan Reynolds is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well Reynolds has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
