Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rogan Josh (ranked 2537 p4p, 2702 weight class) and Clint Westshade (ranked 212 p4p, 224 weight class). Josh comes to the cage accompanied by Radar Love - Golden Earring. Clint Westshade has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Rogan Josh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Clint Westshade!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Josh misses the shot to the body.
Josh has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Westshade on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Westshade drops his hands momentarily and Josh takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
The fight moves into the clinch position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Westshade felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Josh tries to advance to mount but can't.
Josh happy to just control the position for now.
Westshade is trying to get back to half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Josh thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Westshade tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Josh wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Josh is looking to take a break and control but Westshade is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Josh is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Westshade is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

and Westshade counters with a head kick that drops Josh to the mat! Josh scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Josh is rocked!
Westshade fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Josh square on the jaw! Damn, Josh is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!

During a confident post fight interview, Clint Westshade thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
Rogan Josh was interviewed post fight and said 'If you ever start taking things too seriously, just remember that we are talking monkeys on an organic spaceship flying through the universe!'.
