Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Devon Black (ranked 2566 p4p, 3384 weight class) and Johannes Korhonen (ranked 256 p4p, 322 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Devon Black!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Johannes Korhonen!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Korhonen was covering up waiting for the punch and Black finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Black loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
We've been hearing that Black has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Black's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Korhonen avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Korhonen controls Black momentarily but Black frees himself.
Black makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Black with a nice head shot there.
Black is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Korhonen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Black. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Black missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Black throws a big right hand that misses.
Black postures up in Korhonen's guard and throws a big left but Korhonen blocks it.
Black throwing strikes from guard but Korhonen blocks nicely.
Black advances to half guard.
Black sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Korhonen defending well though.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Black is controlling the pace.
Black is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Black is trying for a kimura here. Korhonen looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Black wins by kimura!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Devon Black!
A relieved looking Devon Black thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
