Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between DeMarcus Slice (ranked 25644 p4p, 3974 weight class) and Leonidas Vidalotis (ranked 0 p4p, 458 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, DeMarcus Slice!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leonidas Vidalotis!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Russell Pearce and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to the liver by Vidalotis. Beautiful body shot.
Slice takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Vidalotis looks for the body kick but Slice saw that one coming.
A head kick misses from Vidalotis.
Vidalotis misses with a jab, cross combination.
Slice moves into the clinch.
A short left from Vidalotis.
Slice swings wildly with an uppercut but Vidalotis uses good head movement to avoid it.
Vidalotis wants the takedown. Slice is fighting it off but Vidalotis persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Slice's guard against the cage.
Slice wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Vidalotis manages to pass to side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Slice has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Vidalotis is working away from the top position though.

Slice on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Vidalotis has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Slice is looking for a sweep. Vidalotis is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Vidalotis seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Vidalotis slips a nice elbow through Slice's hands, connecting with Slice's forehead.
Slice is rocked!
Vidalotis creates some space for himself and unloads with a monster right hand! That one landed with a sickening thud - Slice is out cold and this one is all over! Vidalotis climbs onto the cage to celebrate with his corner!! He's shouting something into the camera but he's still got his mouthpiece in so God knows what he's actually saying.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Leonidas Vidalotis!
After winning the bout, Leonidas Vidalotis thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
