Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Giorgi Gorgodze!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Winston Howard and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gorgodze walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Will tests Gorgodze's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Will scores with a shot to the body.
Gorgodze fails to land with a series of punches.
Gorgodze looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Will misses with a wild combination.
Nice sprawl there from Will as Gorgodze shoots in.
Will showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Gorgodze.
Darren Will seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gorgodze wants to slow Will down by chopping away at his legs.
Will connects with a nice looking jab.
Will swats away the attempt to clinch by Gorgodze.
It looked like Will wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Will lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

and Will counters with a left and a right that stings Gorgodze.
Will looks to throw the jab but Gorgodze is out of range.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Will thuds his right hand into Gorgodze's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Gorgodze shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gorgodze showed some decent athleticism there.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Gorgodze holds on and takes a little breather.

Gorgodze seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Gorgodze shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Will but Will pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Will throws a jab when Gorgodze was well out of range.
And Gorgodze tries to counter it with a takedown but Will pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Gorgodze darts in looking for a takedown but Will gets double underhooks and turns Gorgodze into the cage.
Will clobbers Gorgodze with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Gorgodze shoots in but no luck this time.
Gorgodze looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Darren Will has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Giorgi Gorgodze.
Will throws a jab but it's blocked by Gorgodze.
Will gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Gorgodze to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Gorgodze trying to control the position from guard on top but Will is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Will lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Will will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Gorgodze is trying to keep Will in close.

Will throws a body shot but no joy.
A slow jab from Will misses its intended target.
Gorgodze lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Will lands with a shot to the body.
Will swings away with a body shot that misses
and Gorgodze counters with a single leg into guard. Will didn't expect that.
Will wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Gorgodze is now in half guard.
Gorgodze thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Will's head.
Gorgodze is working for a kimura but Will is defending it quite comfortably.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Will flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Will is looking to control Gorgodze's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Will avoid being mounted?
Will is trying to stand back up but Gorgodze is controlling him
Gorgodze is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Darren Will.
I think Will has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
