Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Demian Maia (ranked 2768 p4p, 2783 weight class) and Michael Page (ranked 322 p4p, 323 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Michael Page!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Skip Squint and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Page gets caught napping as Maia dives in and scores a takedown. Page manages to retain guard.

Maia shoots in looking for a takedown but Page manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Maia's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Page felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Michael Page showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
