The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bernard has a takedown stuffed.
And Anderson tries to counter it with a takedown but Bernard pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Anderson closes the distance and clinches.
Anderson tries to break free but Bernard pushes him back against the cage.
Bernard is looking to take this one to the mat.
Anderson is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bernard pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Anderson fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Bernard jumps guard but Anderson turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Korbin Bernard. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bernard tries to score a power double leg takedown but Anderson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bernard somewhat.
Oh Bernard is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
