Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Dukes (ranked 2706 p4p, 4746 weight class) and Reynaldo Ribeiro (ranked 310 p4p, 461 weight class). Dukes comes to the cage accompanied by I saw the Light. Reynaldo Ribeiro has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Johnny Dukes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Reynaldo Ribeiro!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dukes lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Ribeiro backs up against the cage.
It looks like Reynaldo Ribeiro has been cut.
Ribeiro cracks Dukes with a right hand to the side of the head.
It looks like Johnny Dukes has been cut.
Ribeiro with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Ribeiro lands with a hook. Dukes tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
A combination from Ribeiro does no damage.
Dukes ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ribeiro moves away.
Ribeiro clinches up with Dukes and pushes him back against the cage.
Ribeiro lands a nice uppercut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ribeiro lands with a right to the head.
Ribeiro lands an uppercut.
Ribeiro blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Ribeiro continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.
Ribeiro blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Ribeiro dodges an elbow strike from Dukes.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Ribeiro is working an open guard so Dukes takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

We've been told by Dukes's head coaches at Kaptajnernes Træningscenter that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Dukes swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Ribeiro takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Ribeiro throws out a powerful jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ribeiro lands a big uppercut and Dukes crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Dukes looks OK. Ribeiro waves Dukes back to his feet!
Dukes is rocked!
Ribeiro throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Oh Dukes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ribeiro fakes the body blow, causing Dukes to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Dukes goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Reynaldo Ribeiro!
Johnny Dukes was interviewed post fight and said 'I want a rematch. I deserve that.'.
