Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Henny Bottles (ranked 2412 p4p, 21490 weight class) and Denis Denisov (ranked 167 p4p, 299 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 17 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Henny Bottles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 39 - 3, fighting out of Los Angeles, Denis Denisov!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Nard Betker and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Denisov fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bottles clinches with his opponent.
Bottles is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Bottles tries to stall but Denisov uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Bottles seems a little flustered. He's come in with the intention of controlling the clinch but Denisov is preventing him from doing so, at least for the moment.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Denisov has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Denisov goes for a small jab and connects. Now Denisov goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Bottles stumbles back but Denisov runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Bottles to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Bottles will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
