Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!

With a record of 21 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Haruki Johnson!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Basko Godwin!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Godwin swings for the body but Johnson moves out of range.
Johnson quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Godwin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Johnson staying out of range there.
Godwin throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Johnson on the side of the head.
It looks like Haruki Johnson has been cut.
Johnson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Godwin.

and Johnson counters with an inside leg kick.
Godwin connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Basko Godwin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Godwin has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Johnson throws a push kick but Godwin slaps the foot to one side.

letting Johnson counter with a right hand.
Godwin swings and misses with a hook to the body.

It looked like Johnson wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Godwin dips to his left and cracks Johnson with an uppercut!

and Johnson counters with a nice kick to the body.

Godwin walks forward, straight into a front kick from Johnson.
Johnson lands with a good body shot.
Johnson fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Johnson fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Godwin to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Godwin looks to clinch but Johnson throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Godwin taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
