Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tobias Bergman (ranked 24777 p4p, 1839 weight class) and Devon Graves (ranked 585 p4p, 231 weight class). Devon Graves has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tobias Bergman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Devon Graves!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Richard Clark and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Graves looks to score with a jab to the body but Bergman is just out of range.
Bergman moves out of range as Graves strikes.
Bergman misses with a series of wild punches.
Bergman looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Graves thows a body kick. Bergman tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Bergman slips a jab and a cross from Graves.
Bergman circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bergman looks to throw the jab but Graves is out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A looping hook to the body misses from Graves. Bergman does a little dance to reset his feet.
Graves's coach down at California Top Team was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Graves's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Graves throws the left hand but Bergman avoids the punch easily.

Bergman shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Graves is trying to defend but Bergman finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Bergman is trying to break the clinch but Graves has him pressed against the cage.
Bergman swings wildly with an uppercut but Graves uses good head movement to avoid it.

Graves escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Graves thumps Bergman with a low kick.
Tobias Bergman is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Bergman looks to throw the jab but Graves is out of range.
Graves feints and then cracks Bergman's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bergman down.
Graves connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Graves misses with a body shot.
Bergman falls off balance throwing a combination
and Graves counters with a straight right hand.
Graves staying out of range there.

Graves clinches.
Graves lands an uppercut.
A short right from Graves.
Graves blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Graves makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Graves prevents a body shot from Bergman.
Bergman misses with some punches.
Graves softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.

Graves breaks the clinch.
Bergman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Graves tries to avoid it but Bergman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Graves to the ground. Graves escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Graves throws a big counter head kick but Bergman avoids it with no problem.
Bergman blocks a jab.
Bergman attempts a counter takedown but Graves avoids it well and moves away.
Graves lands a leg kick that knocks Bergman off balance momentarily.
Bergman takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Graves throws a leg kick which misses Bergman's front leg but catches the back leg as Bergman tries to avoid it.
Graves does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Bergman appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

Bergman blocks a low kick nicely.
Graves connects with a solid leg kick.
Graves throws a hook but Bergman avoids it easily.

Graves instigates a clinch.

Bergman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bergman lands a jab to Graves's midsection.
Bergman scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Graves doesn't seem bothered though.
Bergman on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Bergman shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bergman showed some decent athleticism there.

Bergman is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Graves reverses the position - he's now on top in Bergman's guard.
Graves tries to stand but Bergman is controlling from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bergman looking for a triangle here. Graves is fighting it but it looks tight! Bergman pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Graves is tapping out - this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Tobias Bergman!
Tobias Bergman decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
