Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jean Francois LaFleur (ranked 958 p4p, 2774 weight class) and Boney Goat (ranked 117 p4p, 326 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think LaFleur might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rebellion. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jean Francois LaFleur!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Boney Goat!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Sam Margolis and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LaFleur leaves Goat with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Goat fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Goat throws a wild body kick that LaFleur sees coming a mile off.
Goat throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around LaFleur's waist but LaFleur gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Goat off to one side.
A quick step to the side and LaFleur tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jean Francois LaFleur has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boney Goat.
Goat misses with a shot to the body
and LaFleur counters with a crisp right hand that drops Goat! LaFleur lets Goat back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
It looks like Boney Goat has been cut.
LaFleur throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Goat sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Goat wants to clinch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Goat. LaFleur does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
LaFleur drops Goat with a huge uppercut! Goat drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. LaFleur is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jean Francois LaFleur!
A very excited looking Jean Francois LaFleur made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
