Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lucio Perry (ranked 4093 p4p, 3752 weight class) and Ryota Fukado (ranked 397 p4p, 432 weight class). Perry's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, El Bélico - El Fantasma. Lucio Perry had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Perry rushes Fukado and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Fukado tries to score a body lock takedown but Perry shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Fukado wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Perry has him pressed against the cage.

Perry is trying to trip Fukado. He has hold of a leg but Fukado is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Perry persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Fukado pulls Perry in close to prevent any damage.
Perry looking to sit in guard and control but Fukado gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Fukado tries to advance to mount but Perry denies him.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Fukado slows the pace down.
You can see the frustration on Perry's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Perry tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Fukado wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Fukado thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Perry wants to control but Fukado postures up.
Fukado sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Perry is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Perry pushes Fukado away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Fukado gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Perry is trying to work for a sweep but Fukado has mounted him!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Fukado swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Perry is now in Fukado's guard. A big mistake from Fukado there, giving up the dominant position!

Fukado wants to sweep but no luck.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Perry darts in looking for a takedown but Fukado gets double underhooks and turns Perry into the cage.

Perry is trying to escape back to his feet but Fukado uses the scramble to pass into side control.
