And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ayden Lopez!
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Hugh Johnson and Topper Green.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson lands a nice leg kick that just misses Lopez's sensitive parts.
Thompson drives through with a takedown into Lopez's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Thompson tries to score with some ground and pound. Lopez controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Lopez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Thompson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
