Carp has chosen Back On My BS - BigXthaPlug as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Common Carp has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carp stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Lucciola throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Carp throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nelson Lucciola seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lucciola misses with a body punch
and Carp counters with a two punch combo.
Carp misses with a wild body shot.
Lucciola uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Carp.

Carp swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Lucciola.
Lucciola ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Carp takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Carp throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lucciola stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Carp tries to land a leg kick but Lucciola saw it coming and moves away.

Carp will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Lucciola lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Carp backs up against the cage.
A shot to the liver by Carp. Beautiful body shot.
Lucciola throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Carp sees it coming and avoids it easily.

and Carp counters with a right hand to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lucciola looks to score with a jab to the body but Carp is just out of range.

Carp fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Carp lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Lucciola turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Lucciola looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Carp looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Lucciola throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Carp moves away from the strike by Lucciola.
Carp paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Carp cracks Lucciola with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Carp has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Lucciola to stand back up!

Carp works Lucciola's body with a nice hook.
Oh Lucciola is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Carp batters Lucciola with a massive right followed by a huge left! Lucciola is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Carp lands a final crushing right hand to drop Lucciola to the mat with a gruesome thud! Carp is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Common Carp!
An out of breath Common Carp thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
