Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Oliveira (ranked 2567 p4p, 3499 weight class) and Lucian Romero (ranked 216 p4p, 266 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Oliveira checks a leg kick.
Oliveira tries to bum rush Romero with a series of wild strikes but Romero uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Romero throws out a counter right but Oliveira avoids it with no problem.
A jab from Oliveira finds it's way through Romero's defenses.
Romero swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Oliveira thinks about countering with a head kick.
Oliveira lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Romero circles away quickly and effectively.
Romero throws a body punch but Oliveira moves out of range.

Oliveira lands a nice hook to Romero's body. Romero takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Oliveira with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Romero to score with a decent uppercut.
Oliveira bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Romero's head.

A combination from Romero does no damage.
Romero lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Oliveira throws a right and a left that Romero avoids nicely.
Oliveira looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Romero looks to land a left hand but Oliveira moved out of range nicely.
Oliveira takes a swing at Romero's ribcage but misses.
A little jabbing left from Romero on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Oliveira takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Oliveira drops Romero with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Romero looks back up at him and smiles so Oliveira waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
