Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Terrance Glover!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Caulo Posta!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Ivan Kurochkin and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Posta throws a one two combo.
Posta feints a jab promting Glover to slip. Posta then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Glover slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
A head kick lands from Posta that sends Glover to the canvas. Glover tries to scramble back to his feet but Posta brings him back down into side control.
Glover is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Glover wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Oh Glover is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Glover is not content to let Posta control the position.
Posta decides to stand back up.
Posta lands a leg kick that knocks Glover off balance momentarily.
Glover seems to have got his legs back now.
Posta fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Glover.
Posta scores with a nice strike.
Whack! Posta lands a heavy head kick that drops Glover. The ref tackles Posta to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Glover was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Caulo Posta!
