This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 30 wins and 13 losses; Chad Strdoza! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 14 wins and 29 losses; Filmore Everett! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Everett shoots in for a takedown but Strdoza shows good takedown defense. Strdoza tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Everett manages to circle out of the way. Filmore Everett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Everett wants to clinch. Strdoza changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Everett shoots in but Strdoza avoids the takedown attempt easily. Strdoza seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Everett has a takedown stuffed. Chad Strdoza has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Filmore Everett. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Everett looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Strdoza appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
That's one minute gone in the round. Everett shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Strdoza pinned against the ropes. Strdoza gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Strdoza changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Everett tries to clinch but Strdoza is having none of it. Strdoza is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Everett. Chad Strdoza is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Everett moves in looking to clinch but Strdoza pushes him off. Strdoza drops down looking for a counter takedown but Everett sprawls and moves away. Everett has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Everett tries to clinch there but Strdoza circles away.
Everett gets a clinch. Strdoza drags the fight down to the ground.
Strdoza looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Everett is defending well. Strdoza quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Everett has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Strdoza celebrates on the ropes, with the crowd.
