PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mr Bulldozer (ranked 4066 p4p, 4122 weight class) and Roronoa Zoro (ranked 424 p4p, 427 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, John Mangel and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zoro darts in and clinches Bulldozer up against the cage.
Bulldozer is trying to break the clinch but Zoro has him pressed against the cage.
Bulldozer tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Zoro smiles and moves away.
Zoro doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Bulldozer counters with a two punch combo.
Zoro throws the kick towards the body but Bulldozer avoids it.

Zoro has closed the distance and engaged Bulldozer in a clinch.
Zoro tries to pull guard but Bulldozer holds him up against the cage and eventually Zoro drops back down to his feet.
Zoro keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Bulldozer's efforts to push away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bulldozer is pressed up against the cage. Zoro has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bulldozer down to the mat. Bulldozer avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Zoro shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bulldozer defends it nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - Zoro looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Bulldozer takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Zoro jumps guard but Bulldozer stands there with Zoro around his waist. Zoro gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That was a close round but I would say that Mr Bulldozer will probably get the nod.

A head kick misses from Zoro.
Zoro tries to close the distance and clinch but Bulldozer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Zoro fails with the takedown.
Zoro throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bulldozer's waist but Bulldozer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Zoro off to one side.
Bulldozer is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

Zoro clinches up against the cage.
Zoro tries to pull guard but Bulldozer holds him up against the cage and eventually Zoro drops back down to his feet.

Roronoa Zoro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Zoro tries to reverse the position but Bulldozer maintains control.

I would just about give that final round to Roronoa Zoro.
