The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mankowski shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gallagher manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Gallagher tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mankowski swivels and escapes.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Gallagher enables Mankowski to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Gallagher manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Mankowski is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
