Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Austin Chase (ranked 4601 p4p, 3028 weight class) and Evan Weiss (ranked 434 p4p, 302 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chase fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Weiss is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Weiss shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Weiss moves in looking to clinch but Chase pushes him off.

Chase escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Weiss gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Chase has his foot on Weiss's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Weiss works his way back into a safe position though.
