The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ebe takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Ebe throws an uppercut from half a mile away. DJ sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A head kick misses from DJ.
Ebe dodges the punch combination from DJ.
Ebe looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
DJ lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
DJ throws a lazy head kick
and Ebe counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps DJ thinking.
Ebe lands an overhand right.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ebe just misses with a punch to the body.
Ebe lands a big right hand that sends DJ crashing to the mat! Ebe stays standing though and waves DJ back to his feet!
It looks like Deontay DJ has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
DJ scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
