Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jay Reepo (ranked 1174 p4p, 919 weight class) and Batang Kock (ranked 98 p4p, 76 weight class). Kock has chosen I will axe kick you, and I am not careful. as his entrance music. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jay Reepo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Batang Kock!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kock scores with a hook to the body. Reepo takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Reepo misses with a hook.
Kock tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Reepo throws out a loose jab but Kock uses good head movement to avoid it.
Reepo rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kock counters with a stiff right hand.
Kock has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Kock checks the leg kick nicely there.
Reepo takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
The fighters circling - Reepo throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Kock connects with a good right hand that stumbles Reepo. Reepo circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Reepo throws a big shot that misses.
Reepo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kock.
Reepo throws a hook but Kock blocks it.
Reepo checks a leg kick.
As Kock looks to move away, Reepo throws a big counter combo but Kock just gets out of the way.
Kock catches Reepo with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Reepo pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Reepo looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Reepo throws an overhand right that lands on Kock's shoulder, as Kock tries to avoid the shot.
Reepo scores with a jab to the jaw.
Reepo avoids a kick to the body.
Kock keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kock throws out a counter right but Reepo avoids it with no problem.
Kock connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Kock moves away from the strike by Reepo.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Reepo moves into the clinch successfully.
Reepo tries to throw a body punch but Kock avoids it by throwing Reepo back against the cage.
Reepo digs a right hand underneath Kock's ribcage. Kock let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Reepo swings wildly with an uppercut but Kock uses good head movement to avoid it.
Reepo misses with a hook to the ribs.

Kock has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Reepo uses from the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Reepo looking to pass the guard.
Reepo pushes down on Kock's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Kock wants to control but Reepo is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Reepo tries to pass the half guard into mount. Kock knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Kock regains full guard. Nicely done.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kock lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Kock working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Kock stands up over Reepo, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Reepo working for a triangle but Kock defends it easily.
Kock wants to control from the top but Reepo keeps moving.
Kock must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Reepo is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kock's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Reepo avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Kock got a little sloppy there for a moment and Reepo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kock has managed to get both his arms back between Reepo's legs - danger averted.

Reepo is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kock defends well.
Kock keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Reepo's head.
Kock content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Kock scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Reepo is looking for a triangle but Kock pushes his legs off easily.
Kock throwing strikes from guard but Reepo blocks nicely.
Reepo working a defensive guard but Kock passes into half guard.
Kock thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Reepo is trying to get back to full guard.
Kock works his way into full mount!
Reepo has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Kock's lack of action.
Kock is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
The fighters are battling for position here. Reepo manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Reepo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kock can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Batang Kock dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Reepo connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kock momentarily.

Kock takes the fight into the clinch.
Reepo tries a body shot but Kock blocks it.
Reepo lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Kock working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Kock tries to work over Reepo's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Kock struggles to land a body shot inside as Reepo controls his hands.
Kock can't find room to land a body shot as Reepo controls the action.

Reepo manages to break the clinch.

Reepo lands a big uppercut and Kock crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Kock looks OK. Reepo waves Kock back to his feet!

Kock is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kock looks to land a body kick but Reepo moved away.
Kock is still on wobbly legs! Can Reepo finish him?
Reepo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kock catches Reepo with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Reepo drops Kock with a huge uppercut! Kock drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Reepo is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jay Reepo!
