Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xxx Xxx (ranked 5889 p4p, 23213 weight class) and Xxx Xxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 20 - 123 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 116 - 27 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Fighter B closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Fighter A did well to prevent Fighter B getting side control. Fighter B is figuring out what he wants to do next. Fighter A blocking the ground and pound attempt from Fighter B. Fighter B trying to control the pace. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A is trying to control but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B controlling the action here.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Fighter B fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fighter A avoids it really well and circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Horrible takedown attempt by Fighter A or perhaps it was just good defense by Fighter B, which made it look bad. Fighter B thinks about the counter body kick. Fighter A doesn't succeed with the takedown and Fighter B finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fighter A. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xxx Xxx. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B shoots in but no luck this time. Fighter A is looking to counter with a body kick. Fighter A shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fighter B sprawls well. Fighter B wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fighter A gets slowly back to his feet. Fighter A is trying hard to land a takedown here. Fighter B sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Fighter B tries to score with a low kick but Fighter A moves his leg out of the way. As Fighter B backs away, Fighter A returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Fighter B tries to land a front kick but Fighter A steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. A little feinted left hand from Fighter A on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Fighter A fails with a takedown attempt. Fighter B steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Nice sprawl there from Fighter B as Fighter A shoots in. Fighter B thinks about the counter body kick. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! A nice combination there by Fighter A.
Fighter A shoots in for a takedown but Fighter B shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. And Fighter B responds with a good body kick, but Fighter A manages to step out the way in time. Fighter A shoots and misses and Fighter B decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Fighter A's guard. Fighter B being controlled here momentarily. Fighter B sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fighter A is controlling Fighter B's posture. Fighter A is trying to keep Fighter B in close.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Fighter B fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fighter A sprawls well initially but Fighter B persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Fighter B trying to control the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A wants to control but Fighter B is keeping busy and won't allow it. Fighter A is holding on to half guard well. Fighter A is trying to control but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Nice strikes from Fighter B there. Fighter B with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Fighter A gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Fighter B to score an easy takedown into full guard. Fighter B sitting in guard here, content to control. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round! Fighter A shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fighter B defends it nicely. No luck with that takedown attempt from Fighter A. Fighter B follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B tries to land a body kick and Fighter A counters with a left and a right that stings Fighter B.
That's one minute gone in the round. Excellent takedown into side control there by Fighter B. Both fighters take a look at the clock. Fighter B working away. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fighter B taking a breather here. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Fighter B tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fighter A swivels and escapes. Fighter A throws a quick counter kick to the body but Fighter B avoids it. Fighter A tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fighter B sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fighter A somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xxx Xxx. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Fighter B stuffs the takedown. Fighter B steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Fighter A tries for a takedown but Fighter B circles away easily and Fighter B counters with a body kick that stops Fighter A in his tracks momentarily. Xxx Xxx has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Xxx Xxx is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Fighter A misses with a takedown attempt - Fighter B sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
And that's the end of the fight! Xxx Xxx comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Fighter B has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
