Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 43 - 33 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Neil Nucombe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chris Griffin!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffin uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Nucombe.
Griffin is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
Nucombe loads up on a big right hand but Griffin slips the punch.
Griffin moves into range and clinches up with Nucombe.
Nucombe throws a punch but it's blocked by Griffin.
Griffin breaks the clinch.
Nucombe misses with a lunging right hand
and Nucombe takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Nucombe rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Griffin counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Nucombe throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Griffin counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Griffin lands a brutal head kick. Nucombe looks out on his feet and Griffin throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick and Punches). Chris Griffin!
Chris Griffin decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
