Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Deveon Zelda (ranked 3403 p4p, 5649 weight class) and Arturo Lowery (ranked 378 p4p, 512 weight class). Zelda comes to the cage accompanied by Immortal Technique - The Point of No Return. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lowery scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Lowery throws a big shot that misses.
Lowery takes a swing at Zelda's ribcage but misses.
Zelda was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Lowery misses with a lunging right hand
and Zelda counters with a series of strikes. Lowery will be more careful next time no doubt.
Lowery loads up on a big right hand but Zelda slips the punch.
A quick step to the side and Zelda tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Zelda walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fighters circle momentarily. Zelda darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

It looks like Arturo Lowery has been cut.

Zelda moves away from the strike by Lowery.
Zelda misses with a hook
and Lowery counters with a stiff right hand.
Lowery uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Zelda.
Zelda throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Lowery to counter with a crisp jab.
Lowery throws an overhand right that lands on Zelda's shoulder, as Zelda tries to avoid the shot.
Zelda definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Lowery swings and misses with a hook to the body.
An attempted straight right counter from Zelda misses the target.

Zelda throws a big counter combination but Lowery scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

and Zelda counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Lowery bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Lowery takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Lowery might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
