Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Chief Bloodgates!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Faarooq Rahim!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Santiago Holmes and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rahim closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Bloodgates keeping control of the position.

Rahim trying to control the action but Bloodgates is working from the bottom.
Rahim is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Oooh a big shot gets through from Rahim. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
Bloodgates tries to escape but Rahim has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
