The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Krulov fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Viking sprawls well initially but Krulov persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

We've been hearing good reports from Krulov's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Krulov gets to his feet and stands over Viking, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Viking felt that one! Krulov unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Viking from any more punishment!

A less than humble Zahar Krulov misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
