Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ernesto Romero (ranked 1348 p4p, 1610 weight class) and Jae Woon Ki (ranked 120 p4p, 142 weight class). Jae Woon Ki will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Jae Woon Ki!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ki jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Romero walks away with a smile on his face. Ki gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Romero takes the fight into the clinch.

Romero tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Romero swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Romero breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Romero drives through and clinches with Ki against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ki wants to get back to striking at distance but Romero won't allow it.
Ki has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Ki has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Romero is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Ki.
Romero looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Ki is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Ki has his foot on Romero's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Romero works his way back into a safe position though.

Romero decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Ki, up you get!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ernesto Romero.
