And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Glass Joe Jr!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, William Gold and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joe Jr throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Joe Jr. Dux does a little dance to reset his feet.
Joe Jr slips a straight right by Dux.
Dux closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Joe Jr quickly recovers to half guard.
Dux looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Joe Jr really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dux. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Joe Jr wants to sweep but Dux has passed to side control!
Dux advances nicely into full mount.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
