Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Taekn Arrms (ranked 1975 p4p, 1488 weight class) and Matt Bond (ranked 200 p4p, 160 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arrms fails with the takedown.
Bond leaves Arrms with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Bond only half commits to the counter leg kick.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Arrms sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bond's guard.
Arrms is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Bond reverses the position - he's now on top in Arrms's guard.
Arrms is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Arrms pulls Bond in close to prevent any damage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bond stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Arrms swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bond won't allow Arrms to sweep him here.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Arrms dives in for a single leg takedown but Bond sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Bond escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Arrms gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

We've been hearing that Arrms has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Bond had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Arrms defends it easily.

Arrms's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Bond has his foot on Arrms's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Arrms works his way back into a safe position though.

Arrms takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Arrms changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bond tries to avoid it but Arrms manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bond to the ground. Bond escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bond lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Arrms shoots in looking for a takedown but Bond manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Arrms's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Bond is trying to counter with his kicks.
Bond throws a head kick but Arrms moves out of range.
Horrible takedown attempt by Arrms or perhaps it was just good defense by Bond, which made it look bad.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Arrms, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
