Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Colestein Veglin (ranked 2747 p4p, 24191 weight class) and Stony Marciano (ranked 327 p4p, 535 weight class). Marciano has chosen IQ 98 as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 4 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Colestein Veglin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 9 - 1, fighting out of New York, Stony Marciano! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Ryoma Takatsuka and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Veglin works over Marciano's head and body with a nice combination. Marciano throws a hook but Veglin blocks it. Veglin looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Marciano appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Marciano throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Marciano dodges the punch combination from Veglin.
A shot to the body from Veglin misses and Marciano counters with a low kick, right behind Veglin 's knee. Marciano's coach down at Hawaii Fitness was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Marciano's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Marciano works Veglin's body with a nice hook. Marciano throws a poor cross that misses
and Veglin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Marciano walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sloppy strikes from Veglin. Those never looked like landing. Veglin scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Veglin checks the leg kick nicely there.
Marciano throws a nice outside leg kick. Nice shot lands for Marciano. Veglin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sloppy strikes from Veglin. Those never looked like landing. Despite the aggression on Marciano's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Veglin throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Marciano makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Veglin throws a right hand that misses
and Marciano counters with a three punch combo that has Veglin backing up. Veglin nods at Marciano to acknowledge the strikes. Veglin fails to land with a series of punches.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Veglin moves away from the strike by Marciano. Marciano misses the shot to the body. Marciano throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Marciano tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Veglin was well out of range. Poor timing from Marciano. Veglin lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Stony Marciano has been cut. Marciano just misses with a punch to the body.
Marciano connects with a solid leg kick. Marciano slips under a jab from Veglin. Marciano paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Marciano misses with an uppercut
and Veglin counters with a straight right hand. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Colestein Veglin will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Stony Marciano's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Marciano throws a jab when Veglin was well out of range. Colestein Veglin is winning the standup battle so far. Marciano misses with a few strikes there.
Veglin uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Marciano. It looked like Veglin wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. A big left from Veglin misses. Marciano is looking for the big counter here. Veglin swings widly with a right hand
and Marciano counters with a lovely shot to the body. Veglin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Veglin misses with a head kick.
Marciano swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Veglin misses the jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Veglin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Marciano circles away quickly and effectively. Veglin takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Veglin moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Veglin with a body punch. A glancing blow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marciano looks to land a body kick but Veglin moved away. Veglin throws a leg kick and Marciano cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Veglin throws a sloppy body shot
and Marciano counters with a straight right hand. Veglin takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Veglin is rocked! Veglin staying out of range there. Oh Veglin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Marciano connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Marciano misses with a low kick. Veglin is looking to counter punch. Marciano slips a jab from Veglin. Marciano swings for the body but Veglin moves out of range.
Veglin went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Veglin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Marciano scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Colestein Veglin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Marciano lands a right and a left and another right! Veglin goes down! Oh, he's in big, big trouble! 3,4,5,6,7,8... he's up to one knee... 9,10! He can't beat the count - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Stony Marciano! Stony Marciano was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
