The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Penn keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Penn stuffs the takedown attempt from Easterly . Easterly gets slowly back to his feet.
Easterly tries to score a power double leg takedown but Penn sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Easterly somewhat.
Penn attempts a counter takedown but Easterly avoids it well and moves away.
Luke Penn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Holden Easterly .
Easterly dives in and grabs Penn's left leg, looking for a takedown. Penn pushes down on Easterly 's head and hops out.

Easterly really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Penn. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Penn maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Easterly could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Penn has cracked it and Easterly is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Penn!
