Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Alopodis tries for a takedown but Mcgillicutty sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Mcgillicutty shoots in for a takedown but Alopodis shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Mcgillicutty drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Mcgillicutty drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Alopodis manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mcgillicutty has Alopodis in his guard.
