And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 12 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rafael Darren!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Winston Alpacca and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Lima scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
A looping hook to the body misses from De Lima. Darren does a little dance to reset his feet.
Darren throws a head kick but De Lima moves out of range.
De Lima feints a jab promting Darren to slip. De Lima then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Darren slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like Rafael Darren has been cut.
De Lima swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Darren.
Darren throws a head kick that misses.
De Lima throws out a powerful jab.
Darren is rocked!
De Lima just misses with a punch to the body.
Darren is still on wobbly legs! Can De Lima finish him?
De Lima scores with a jab. Darren acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

De Lima throws a nice looking combination but Darren bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
De Lima throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Darren throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Darren walks into a stiff left hand from De Lima.
De Lima lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Darren at a distance.
De Lima throws a jab when Darren was well out of range.

De Lima throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

De Lima drops his shoulder and cracks Darren with a huge uppercut! Darren goes down! Can De Lima finish him?

De Lima wants to control from the top but Darren keeps moving.
De Lima forces his way into half guard.
De Lima wants to work for an arm triangle but Darren is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
De Lima looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Darren is not content to let De Lima control the position.
De Lima in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Darren tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from De Lima!
