Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pate Boxeri (ranked 627 p4p, 3697 weight class) and Pekka Haalvisto (ranked 58 p4p, 279 weight class). Haalvisto has chosen Fintelligens - Stockholm-Helsinki as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Haalvisto tries to keep at a distance but Boxeri has taken the fight into the clinch.

Haalvisto's coach down at Kalashnikov ELITE MMA Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Haalvisto's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

I was talking to Boxeri's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Boxeri will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Haalvisto up against the cage.
Haalvisto swings wildly with an uppercut but Boxeri uses good head movement to avoid it.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Boxeri takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
