PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rutbane Blight (ranked 1925 p4p, 2799 weight class) and Johel Yomero (ranked 238 p4p, 327 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Blight might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Tom MacDonald - "sheeple". The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blight closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Blight is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Yomero can do to turn this around?

Yomero is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Blight is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Blight has escaped and now he's on top!

Yomero has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Blight doesn't defend quickly enough and Yomero has managed to lock this one up! Can Blight escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Yomero on a fantastic submission victory.

Johel Yomero decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
