The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Barnes misses with a looping left.
Lukic swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Barnes lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Lukic lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Nice defenses there by Lukic.
Lukic scores with a decent looking hook.
Lukic throws an overhand right that lands on Barnes's shoulder, as Barnes tries to avoid the shot.

and Lukic counters with a one-two to the body.

Barnes cracks a nice hook into Lukic's ribs.
Barnes gets cracked there but stands up to it.

letting Lukic counter with a right hand.

and Lukic counters with a straight right hand.
Lukic looks to throw the jab but Barnes is out of range.
Lukic moves into range and connects with a jab.
Barnes is rocked!
Barnes drops his hands momentarily. Lukic doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Barnes staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Barnes doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
