Pike comes to the cage accompanied by DMX - Intro. McCurtney has chosen "Green card" as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bernard McCurtney!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pike dodges the punch combination from McCurtney.

Pike has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics McCurtney uses from the top position.
McCurtney wants to get up but he can't break Pike's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Pike had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. McCurtney defends it easily.

Pike pushes a forearm under McCurtney's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, McCurtney is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
