Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kugus Amiga (ranked 23711 p4p, 23784 weight class) and Richard John Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Richard John Salvacion was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 53 - 48 - 6, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kugus Amiga! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 47 - 59 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard John Salvacion! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Salvacion has his takedown stuffed and Amiga counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Salvacion dives in and grabs Amiga's left leg, looking for a takedown. Amiga pushes down on Salvacion's head and hops out. Salvacion will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kugus Amiga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Richard John Salvacion. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salvacion scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Amiga wants to control but Salvacion is keeping busy.

That's one minute gone in the round. Well, if Salvacion is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Amiga is pressing down on Salvacion's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Amiga keeping moving, preventing Salvacion from controlling successfully. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Salvacion's corner is telling him to maintain position. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Amiga is pulling down on Salvacion's head. It's preventing any offense from Salvacion, at least for the moment.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Salvacion displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Amiga. Salvacion lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Amiga shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Salvacion defends it nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Salvacion fails with a takedown attempt. Amiga throws a quick counter kick to the body but Salvacion avoids it. Salvacion shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Salvacion showed some decent athleticism there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Salvacion content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Amiga is pressing down on Salvacion's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Richard John Salvacion dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Nice sprawl there from Amiga as Salvacion shoots in. Amiga shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Salvacion manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Amiga slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Salvacion controlling the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
That's one minute gone in the round. Amiga seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Salvacion for as long as he can get away with.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Amiga throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Salvacion's waist but Salvacion gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Amiga off to one side. Salvacion is trying to counter with his kicks. Salvacion tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Amiga defends well and Salvacion ends up having to push Amiga into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Salvacion shoots for a takedown but Amiga saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Kugus Amiga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Richard John Salvacion.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from Amiga as Salvacion shoots in. A momentary lapse in concentration from Salvacion enables Amiga to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Salvacion manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Amiga is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Salvacion has Amiga pulled in close to control his posture.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Amiga controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Salvacion controlling the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Amiga scoring with some ground and pound. Salvacion looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kugus Amiga dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round! Amiga tries for a takedown but Salvacion sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Salvacion is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Amiga dives in for a single leg takedown but Salvacion sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. And Salvacion responds with a good body kick, but Amiga manages to step out the way in time. Amiga gets underhooks to prevent Salvacion's takedown attempt.
Amiga tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kugus Amiga. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Salvacion avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Salvacion pulls guard effortlessly.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salvacion is controlling Amiga's posture. Salvacion's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Amiga trying to control but Salvacion is working from the bottom. Salvacion not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Salvacion is on top in guard.
Amiga seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Amiga keeping moving, preventing Salvacion from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga has his hands on Salvacion's head, controlling the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Amiga doesn't succeed with the takedown and Salvacion counters with a nice double leg into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Salvacion's corner is telling him to maintain position.
And that's the end of the fight! Richard John Salvacion comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Salvacion has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
