Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gakus Amiga (ranked 23968 p4p, 23953 weight class) and Helen Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 41 - 60 - 6, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gakus Amiga! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 44 - 57 - 9, fighting out of Las Vegas, Helen Salvacion! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Amiga attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Salvacion follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Amiga fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Salvacion avoids it really well and circles away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Salvacion throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Amiga was covering up waiting for the punch and Salvacion finishes the takedown easily into guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Amiga is adopting a defensive guard. Amiga controls Salvacion momentarily but Salvacion frees himself. Salvacion sitting in guard, not really doing much.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Salvacion won't allow Amiga to sweep him here. Salvacion sitting in guard here, content to control. Amiga keeping moving, preventing Salvacion from controlling successfully. Salvacion slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Salvacion shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Amiga but Amiga pushes him off and we're back to square one. And Amiga counters with a quick kick to the body but Salvacion blocks it. Amiga shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Salvacion pinned against the cage. Salvacion gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Salvacion is trying hard to land a takedown here. Amiga sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Amiga throws a big counter combination but Salvacion scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Amiga shoots in and drives through. Salvacion sprawls well. Salvacion looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gakus Amiga. That's going to take a lot out of him. Salvacion fails with a takedown attempt from distance. And Amiga counters with a quick kick to the body but Salvacion blocks it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Amiga throws a half hearted mid kick. Salvacion was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Salvacion looks for the body kick but Amiga saw that one coming. Amiga quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Helen Salvacion dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Amiga misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Salvacion slaps away a takedown attempt from Amiga, before circling back to the center of the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Amiga managing to control the position. Amiga is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Salvacion slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Amiga keeping moving, preventing Salvacion from controlling successfully.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Salvacion looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Amiga throws a big counter combination but Salvacion scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Amiga gets caught flat footed, as Salvacion shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Salvacion seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Amiga is adopting a defensive guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Helen Salvacion showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Salvacion gets caught napping as Amiga dives in and scores a takedown. Salvacion manages to retain guard. Amiga being controlled here momentarily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
 That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Amiga seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Salvacion for as long as he can get away with. Salvacion will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Salvacion being controlled here, momentarily. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Salvacion tries to land a sweep but no joy.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Salvacion shoots in looking for a takedown but Amiga manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Salvacion's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Salvacion shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Amiga as he jumps to the side.
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
Amiga clinches up with Salvacion and pushes him back against the cage. Amiga drops down looking for an ankle pick but Salvacion pulls his leg out and moves away.
Salvacion shoots in looking for a takedown but Amiga manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Salvacion's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Gakus Amiga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Helen Salvacion. Salvacion leaves Amiga with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Salvacion gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Amiga counters with a nice kick to the body. Gakus Amiga has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Helen Salvacion is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Amiga scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
And that's the end of the fight! Gakus Amiga showed his dominance in that final round. I think Salvacion has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
